This 9 parameter combination is produced specifically for use in the public health sector in South Africa and includes the following parameters: blood, urobilinogen, bilirubin, protein, glucose, ketones, nitrite, leukocyte, and pH. This product is CE marked and US FDA listed.
Test-it™ PrCr
The PrCr product was developed under a grant from the South African Medical Research Council (part of the Grand Challenges South Africa programme from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation). It measures protein in urine in combination with creatinine with the aim to detect elevated protein levels in the urine of pregnant women. It has therefore a role in the early detection (and prevention) of preeclampsia when used together with clinical examination, patient history and other laboratory findings.
Test-it™ mALB
LifeSADX developed a very accurate colorimetric dipstick test for microalbuminuria. Using a sensitive new sulphonaphthalein dye in combination with a creatinine parameter, it is now possible to accurately detect microalbumin at levels as low as of 3-8 mg/L. This product has been stabilised so that no refrigeration is required. The Test-it™ mALB test is stable for 18 months from date of manufacture when kept at normal room temperature. This product is also CE marked and US FDA listed.
Test-it™ LIPOstix
This product is aimed at the weight loss market and offers a unique way to check if the user is burning fat. It combines the unique parameter combination of acetoacetic acid (ketones), ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and specific gravity (hydration) to assist in tracking and maintaining ketolysis for those individuals who aim to “burn fat”. As with our other urinalysis products, the LIPOstix test strip is CE marked and US FDA listed.
